Wintery Gamla Stan and finally make it to Hermans

I met a friend yesterday and she was fully intent on fika at Hermans. Who was I to say no. Been trying to make it there since I moved here and usually things have gotten in the way. Hermans has a great view over the Baltic Sea across to Djurgården and Gamla Stan.

They have a very famous vegetarian buffet. I didnt sample it as I had a nice curry waiting at home but I couldn’t resist a nut and fudge pie, I know, calories but what the hell!

Really nice place, definitely would like to go back and eat there as the food looked and smelled delicious. Here are a few pics I took on the way up there, much to my friends amusement! Click the photo for a bigger version, look at those clouds!

Those pictures look fantastic! Sunny weather is great, but if I’m going to be outside I prefer cool & overcast. I know, I’m weird.

Thank Trendkiler, its a new camera and I still need to figure out the settings, it can do better.

I know what you mean. As long as I am dressed for it I dont mind cold and gloomy. Sometimes thats great weather for a long walk to clear your head.

I love the way Stockholm looks so different in each season but still very appealing.

yay – nice pictures. Reminds me of my trip to Sthlm 10 days ago. I just want to live there and be able to enjoy these views daily.. or at least weekly..
And here’s another one who doesn’t mind if it’s not hot. I like sun, but I don’t like it when it is too hot. And I don’t care if it rains and / or it’s cold. That’s why warm clothes are there for! And a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate at Chokladkoppen ;)
