And its a case of ‘Alice, Alice who the f*** isnt called Alice?’

The list of the most popular Swedish names was published this week. Alice topped the name list of new born baby girls in 2009.  Maja was the second most popular name.

For the boys Lucas was top of the list for the second year in a row, followed by Elias and Oscar.

I actually need a Swedish name, I get called so many things when I order a taxi.  Any suggestions?

I think Sven might be the only Swedish name I can think of off the top of my head!

Sven is actually a good idea even though I don’t know any Swede called Sven. But on the radio they said that Niklas is actually the most common Swedish name. And an unusually high number of the Swedes I know are called Peter – with the Swedish pronounciation “Petter” of course ;-)

You can say “Valle” when You order a taxi. With a short “A”.
Or “Lennart”. (Nacka Skoglund) :-)
