Stockholm Derby -it’s showtime

in Hammarby

I am so excited, tonight I will experience my first Stockholm derby.

The working classes from Södermalm take on the toffs from Östermalm, yes its Hammarby v Djurgården!

Its a bit surreal because although this is a Hammarby home match they play the derbies at Swedens national stadium and home of the evil rats AIK Råsunda Stadium.

I am not wearing any colours, well actually I have my Bajen hat with me. I didnt want to take any risks because I am going alone to the game and having never been to Råsunda I am being cautious.

However I did ask on the Söderstadion Bajen site for some advice and there is a special train going directly from Södra Station to Solna. I will be with other Hammarby fans so will be much safer.  Plus, any Brit of my age and older will be thrilled to be going to a match on a football special train.

They used to be all the rage in the UK but they were stopped some years ago. OK so Solna is only a short ride but I am told its quite an experience! I have my camera!

Forza Bajen!

You’re just adding to it! Don’t blame the Local, when you’re just as bad. :( Just look how nice we were to BP yesterday, we’re not bad. Bet there’ll be fighting tonight though, so be careful!

Only 16,000? Whats all that about? I heard that someone got stabbed after the game. Dont get that at AIK-BP, massive Sthlm derby.

Did you see the plan flying over with ’tillsammens vi kan. hifdif.se’
brilliant stuff from some rich AIK fan

Well lets face it Solna is a shit hole where nobody wants to take their familes thats why you want to move to Södermalm Jamie.

Yes I saw that plane, was about the time I wish I lived in the Lebanon and could get my hand on a SAM missile launcher to take the fucker out.

Surprised the old bill allowed that.

I liked Råsunda, nice old school ground but Solna, nah you can keep it. I will stay South of the border.
