Its interesting to read the different leaflets that are handed out at Stockholm bus/tube stations.

I was out for a walk with a good friend when I was handed one titled ‘Minska Alkovåldet’ – reduce alcohol violence.

It read:

It should be fun to go out. You shouldnt feel uncomfortable at the pub or in town. Drunks, lax age verification and trouble is a major problem, and alcohol actually makes a difference in terms of violence. In eight out of ten abuse cases  alcohol is  involved.

In order to combat alcohol violence, we need to act politically.

Limit the opening hours
Strong on age limits
stop over-service (överserveringen – not sure what that means?
Responding! Acting!

Visit the www.minska-alkovåldet.nu and see how you can help to reduce alcohol violence

Different!

I recently read an article, on The Local or perhaps SR.se, about a study that showed alcohol violence is linked with hypoglycemia, and could therefore be mitigated by eating snacks or meals along with the alcohol.
