Learning Swedish with Hammarby

April 12th is fast approaching..I need to learn the Hammarby anthem ‘Just idag är jag stark‘ pretty quickly.

I thought it would be fun to translate the lyrics into English as part of my efforts to improve my Swedish.

Just idag är jag stark
Just idag mår jag bra
Jag förs framåt av kraftiga vindar
Just idag är jag stark
Just idag mår jag bra
Jag har tron på mig själv på min sida

So here goes.

Just today I am strong
Just today I feel good
I am standing in front of strong winds
Just today I am strong
Just today I feel fine
I have faith in myself, in my team.
