Lars Ohly – what a clown!

Every time Lars Ohly – the Leader of the Left Party opens his mouth I wince. The now Leninist but once Stalinist leader said recently

‘Vi ser nu hur nyliberalismens kollaps gör att manniskor inte kan åka tåg när det blir snö’

Roughly translates as:

‘We see now how the collapse of neo-liberalism means that people can not take the train when snows.’

Ohly says he is no longer a Communist but some habits are hard to get rid off hey Comrade!

Yes Stockholm had it bad the last week. Trains cancelled, bus replacement services and fighting in the dance halls, sorry tube stations. It was a shamble. I told my staff not to get worked up or stressed about being late because this was an exceptional circumstance and out of their control.

I dont think any government, of any leaning, could have prevented the chaos this week. Generally I have been impressed with the way Sweden has coped with almost four months of heavy snow.

The clown Lars Ohly is apparently still employed by by SJ- Swedish Rail as a conducter but has been on leave of absence since 1994. So rather than try and score political cheapshots he may actually have earned himself some political credit by going back to his employers and helping out when they needed manpower. Workers Party my arse!

Sweden has a fantastic job creating policy. The RUT policy means I can get tax relief on the cleaner I employ, the same goes for those who employ babysitters and I believe there is a tax relief on traders such as painters and decorators. Now my cleaner was coming twice a month but because of the tax relief which is around 50% then I can afford to have the cleaner come once a week.

Lars Ohly claims that only the rich are benefiting from this policy and that the tax could be better spent!!! What would he spend it on? Junkets to see his mate Chavez in Venezuela or pop over to North Korea on a ‘trade visit.’

This policy was introduced by the Alliance Government in order to create jobs and it works. My cleaner now has double the work with me. If the Opposition scrap it, as they plan to, then I will have to go back to twice a month.  What is better the cleaner getting the tax cash or Comrade Ohly’s government?

This is yet another reason why I fear the Red Greens getting in.
