IKEA 0 Shane 1

Ha ha this will make some of you laugh!

I usually buy my music digitally but as I have my own place I have decided to buy in cd format again. I have somewhere to put them. All my existing cd’s are in a dvd type case. It was easier when I moved to Sweden to throw away the individual cases and keep them in the one place.

My Ipod currently has around three weeks worth of music on it. That means I can listen to it constantly for three weeks before I am back to the beginning.

It meant buying a cd rack and the only place that I could find one was …yes you guessed it Ikea.

I bought one for the very reasonable price of 399 SEK and we brought it home, it weighed 14 kilos.

I am the Mr Bean of DIY and it was left to Miss P to put my furniture together when I moved in. I would have paid someone otherwise as I am useless. I used to love aeroplanes as a kid but I could never put the model aircraft together, more likely to glue my fingers together.

So here we have it, my cd hylla and there was no blood, broken glass, swear words, left over parts or screws, it all went very easy, makes a nice change!
