First run of the new decade!
An explosive start his time I did 10kms in minus 8 degrees Celcius!
I am ecstatic about this as it took all my energy to get out there today as there was a snowstorm. I ended up running around 1hour 10 mins over double the time of my usual snow runs and boy did I feel it. Definitely need a second pair of gloves!
What a way to ring in the new year though!
I am also on day 2 of my detox more on this later..but here is a shot of last nights soup, its supposed to have all green veggies in it so I call is Bajenssoppa!
Right have to tidy the flat now but will stick some photos from New Years Eve at Skansen up later!

Well done. I did around 25-30 mins today and will try to gradually increase this over the coming weeks. 1h 10 mins is impressive
Dave I read about the Galloway Method and gave it a try on that run. He has coached thousands of people to run Marathons using a run/walk/run schedule.
I was sceptical at first but the more I read online the more I think he is onto something.
Check out this blog post and more important the comments from other runners:

Check out his book

Now today I did a 7.2kms non stop, took 47 mins but I feel a lot worse than I did on my long run on the weekend.
A lot of bloggers are posting faster times using Galloways method than when they ran non stop.
For me the attraction is running injury free though in fairness I have a bit more weight to lose than you mate!
Tack for the info and tips.
