Today is the day of the Semla here in Sweden. I blogged on this last year:

I read somewhere that 5 million semlor will be eaten today, not bad for a country of 9 million. I won’t be having one though, I am still on Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet so its not permitted. Ah well! I had a nice one in Falun a few weeks back and it was old school style as I had it with the warm milk.
There is a Semla Race hmmmm!
