in Our Man in Sweden

Now I feel settled into my home.

Have I got nice art on the wall? New sound system?

No …I am for the first time since I moved to Sweden watching Premier League football from my front room. Actually its not the front room its the sitting room ;-)

Just watched some of Manchester United but looking forward to Liverpool shortly. In order to celebrate this I have cooked a lovely sunday roast! It was delicious.

The funny thing about Canal Plus is that Ron Atkinson is a pundit! I kid you not.  He sits there nodding his head whilst the Swedish pundits natter in Swedish then they ask him the odd question in English…strange!!

Canal Plus is the pay tv sports channel, similar to Sky Sports, it was owned by the French at some point but was sold off to TV group. I paid the extra to have the HD and it is fantastic  – big difference.

Come on Liverpool!

Lucky sod.. I’ve been meaning to get Canal Plus for years but have never got round. to it

However, now N’castle are out of the premiership there perhaps isn’t the need.

Yeah I couldn’t have it in the other place because it was a rented flat. So I really appreciate it. I think it will come in very handy in the cold months….

And actually the studio pundits are Norwegian I think. They all sound so happy ;-)

If you looked at the HD-channel the talk in the studio for me is the Norwegian studio and not the Swedish :)

Yes I did watch HD, I still got a lot of what they were saying but its funny how Norwegians sound happy all the time!
