Kalmar
I am going to Kalmar next weekend.
Why? Well Hammarby are playing there and also I thought it would be fun to visit a Swedish town where I have not been yet.
Kalmar is towards the south of Sweden in the region of Småland. It connects the mainland of Sweden to the island of Öland. Its about 4/5 hours by train but it was actually much cheaper to fly there and back. Not as environmentally friendly of course but still. I also get to fly from a new airport for me Bromma and a new airline Kalmarflyg part of Svenskflyg. Exciting!
I will work in Kalmar on the Monday, the hotels in Kalmar have never met anyone from our company and we do great business there so I am really looking forward to meeting them. I feel like a preacher spreading the word! Actually its nice to get out on sales trips thesedays and I plan on doing a lot more, there is only so much staring at a screen an ‘old school’ salesman can do 
I am planning on sightseeing in the days and of course seeing what the town of Kalmar has to offer in the evenings. Should be fun, I am rather excited but most of my Swedish friends think I am barmy as to them its just a provincial boring town. In my experience I know that towns are rarely boring when I visit them
