Another good move by the Alliance

The Alliance Government are calling for mandatory membership of a Student Union to be scrapped.

I remember when I was a student I didnt want to join the NUS and got no end of stick. I also remember breaking a NUS strike on campus over VAT being added on energy bills. I remember getting eggs thrown at me for that!!! The thing was it was Quentin and Camilla who never had to worry about a gas bill in their life that was leading the Union movement, all very middle class and totally unnecessary.

How was me not attending lectures going to make the Government think twice about VAT on fuel bills.

I dont think anybody should be forced to join a Union and neither should they be denied the right to join one. This is yet another good proposal from the Alliance.   I have never seen so much common sense in a ruling government!

Keep it up guys!!
