Anniversary today

I have just realised that today is the one year anniversary of me moving to Sweden.

One year! Twelve months, 365 days where did they go?

I am really enjoying my time in Sweden, yeah the long dark hours are pissing me off but its a small price to pay for living in such a beautiful country. Yesterday a colleague visited from overseas and we took him on a long walk to Gamla Stan, Stockholm is still pretty even when dark.

I have no regrets so far, other than not making as much progress in Swedish as I would like but I hope to address that in 2009.

I am sure I will make it to my second anniversary. I am enjoying the challenge of my career and the challenge of living in a new country. I really want to explore more of Sweden this year though. Starting with Dalarna in a few weeks!!!
