Last night I made my debut at Gröna Lund. Its the big fairground attraction on the island of Djurgården in Stockholm. The Swedes do their theme parks very well, a lot of effort goes into the buildings and the atmosphere. Certainly not as, dare I say it ‘pikey’ as some of the ones back home.
One of the guys who came over from the UK for the funeral invited me as he had tickets. Apparently some singer called Lady Ga Ga was playing
Typical of me I had no idea who she was, but she is apparently the big star here in Sweden right now.
The place was packed, as she is very similar to Britney Spears there were lots of teenage girls going crazy. Thankfully I have not had my Mid life crisis yet so it was more annoying than pleasing.

Yes a nice looking girl but horrendous music, I think I lasted about 90 seconds before I left the crowd to go back to the bar!
Gröna Lund looked really nice, I will have to go back on a quieter day except that Shane doesnt do rollercoasters! I am going to buy a new camera as well. Andy had a cracker from Panasonic, a bit pricey but the image quality was amazing. So look out for some better quality snaps on Let Me Tell You About Sweden soon!
