Miss Palin apart from having dodgy political views and questionable taste also supports AIK! (Says a lot really!)

I asked in the post Just idag är jag stark for other Swedish football songs and she has sent us the following AIK songs:

Lyrics to “Å vi e AIK”:

Leaving tribal allegiances to one side, I just think its cool when teams have their own or adopt a song as their own. Back in England there is now a tendency to sing ‘duh duh duh duh (insert player name/club). Of course there are teams like Newcastle United for instance who have a whole host of their own songs. Liverpool adopted the great ‘You Will Never Walk Alone’.

Swansea City had their own song  from when they powered up the Leagues in the early eighties – Take Me to the Vetch Field.

We still sing this despite no longer playing at the Vetch…unfortunately.

I wonder if there are any Djurgården readers who can ensure we have all three Stockholm teams represented? Oh I mustnt forget the boys of Bromma either!
