Yes thats right I failed on this. I got to Day 15 and … Well it was out of my control really. I was in Oslo in business out for lunch with client and there was no veggie options.
I really didnt think I sit there with broccoli and cauli. So I took some turkey.
A bit disappointed but I think thats the difference between being a veggie for health reasons and a veggie for animal rights issues.
Still I got myself back on track after that. Even refused the free dinner on the flight as it was chicken.
I am enjoying eating vegetarian food though so I will carry on with. I dont think 15 days is a bad stab at it.
Oh and Oslo Gardemoen Airport wasnt much cop for vegetarian food either. The chef did rustle me up a baked potato with salad..whoopey doo!
If you are a vegetarian in Oslo I can heartily recommended Jaipur Indian Restaurant Oslo. Their Lentil soup was amazing and they did me a lovely mixed vegetable dish. I rate a restauant when they give you options on what strength you want. I had a Madras which was a bit on the cheeky side, just right!
